Timberline Retreat - November 2011
**UPDATED INFORMATION**
New Class descriptions and more details about this phenomenally Christmas Retreat!
This is our first time doing a Christmas retreat and so it will be new and exciting for everyone. The cost for the entire weekend is $200 with the workshops, pampering and horseback riding extra, however the make'n takes and project tree are included in the price as well as accommodations and food.
Christmas is All Wrapped Up at the ScrapYard at Timberline with their updated grounds and facilities, and this time out we are getting a head start on all things Christmas. We’ve refocused on projects that will get you going before the mad rush so that you can sit back and relax when everyone else is going crazy. From November 18-20 2011 we will be staying in the lodge and have use of the huge cropping room all to ourselves. Accommodations, food, beverages, and snacks are all included. We will have the punches, Big Shot, and tons of other cool stuff available to use along with Lindsay's Big Shot Goody Box of dies and embossing folders. You can have everything ready for Christmas in a single weekend, and be the envy of all your friends and family. Get your cards done early as well as tags, ornaments, Stocking Stuffers and maybe even a present or two. Along with all the regular stuff we will also be offering a full store courtesy of Scrap Arts from North Vancouver. You should see the stuff she’s bringing! Lindsay will be offering a fantastic class showcasing the Stampin’ Up Christmas mini-catalogue, and Lainy will be offering things that make say WOW! Vera from Creative Memories will be back to help all out, and Andrea from Close To My Heart will be return after missing our Spring retreat this year. We will also be planning some fabulous pampering so that you can take an hour or so to rejuvenate yourself. Horseback riding will, as always, depend on numbers. Continue to watch this site for updates, or come find us on Facebook here!
If you've never attended a ScrapYard retreat before, it is held at Timberline Ranch in Maple Ridge. We'll be starting around 5 pm Friday November 18 and go all the way through to 3:00 pm Sunday November 20. It is a working dude ranch so the accommodations are basic and you must bring a sleeping bag and pillow. The food is fabulous, although you need to provide your own dinner Friday night. The crop area is open continuously during our stay, and there is a fire place where we crop to keep us nice and toasty. Lighting is adequate, but there are a limited number of outlets, so if you need one for a computer, light or other equipment, please let us know ASAP.
We will have presenters from Stampin’ Up, Close To My Heart, Creative Memories and Scrap Arts doing Make 'n Takes that you can do whenever there is room at the table, and we will also have some interesting Free Demos. We'll have some small Projects available for $5 each that make great gifts or stocking stuffers! The Christmas Project Tree will have lots of interesting project concepts to take home and try yourself, with something for everyone, including the kids!
We can't wait to see you and help you get Christmas All Wrapped Up so register early and bring all your friends! Registration checks should be made out to Lainy Thompson and mailed to 1413 Pinetree Way Coquitlam, BC V3E 2T6, or call us at 778-834-9273 for more information.
